For Team leads
Know what is happening in your team. Before problems take hold.
An exit interview reveals that handovers have been frustrating people for months. Day to day, things seemed to be working somehow. A year passes between annual reviews, and not every issue reaches you on its own. You need a reliable reason to look more closely before small points of friction become entrenched.
Try free for 28 days — with up to three teams. Can be ended at any time during the trial.
All termsYou already have plenty of individual impressions. It is harder to tell whether several people are concerned about the same issue, or whether a change is becoming part of everyday work. A short, recurring EngageBeat check-in can complement those impressions.
What changes in your working day
Once a week, your team answers two to four questions. A fixed index question shows how the general mood develops; other questions address specific topics. Allow approximately one minute per person for this short check-in, without a longer comment. Results and comments are released after the week ends, provided there are at least five valid responses per question.
Your work starts before the first invitation: clarify the purpose and internal approvals, set up access, choose a retention period and inform the team. Later, you review results, put comments in context and prepare a next step. Once the start has been approved, you share the prepared participant access details and invitation text through your usual channel. You can also use that channel to remind people about the check-in. Automatic email reminders can be enabled as an option.
Reviewing results and discussing them takes time. As a starting point, we suggest 15 minutes in your existing team meeting. This is a planning suggestion, not a measured total duration. A conflict may need more time. What matters is agreeing a manageable action and asking at the next review whether anything has changed.
How to introduce it to your team
Explain the purpose and ground rules
Explain which problem you want to work on together. Clarify data protection, any employee representation requirements, access rights and budget with the people responsible. Do not promise absolute anonymity. Name the points of contact and set a specific date for the first review.
Set up access and provide clear information
After approval, choose the right plan and prepare the team. Set up owner and participant access separately. Explain optional comments, reporting thresholds and retention. Do not share owner access with participants; use the invitation text to explain shared participant access.
Open the first check-in
Once setup is complete, a company admin confirms the booking and start in the web app. The 28 days begin when the first survey opens. Setup and preparation are not included. The start date, end date and date charges begin are confirmed. Surveys follow calendar weeks, so starting midweek can result in a partial week.
Review the results together
Wait until the week ends and results are released. Discuss a notable issue without trying to identify individual respondents. Agree a small change, a responsible person and the next review. If a question remains below the threshold, no results are shown for it.

Need internal approval first?
Clarify the budget and internal approvals in advance. Add the purpose, responsible people and planned review to the text. This internal request for review is not a booking; you only make a binding confirmation later in the web app.
The template is only copied. No message is sent.
What if the results are poor?
A low value is initially a signal. Respond with a clear question about everyday work rather than looking for someone to blame. For example, you could discuss a handover that keeps getting stuck and agree a specific change to the process. Be open about what you can decide yourself and where you need support.
Record what you are trying and return to the feedback. Better values do not prove that the action alone made a difference. If the picture remains concerning, it calls for further investigation, not better-looking numbers. Making sense of poor check-in results can help you take the next step.
Questions before getting started
Is EngageBeat Team enough to get started?
EngageBeat Team includes the fixed index, standard questions and rotating topics. EngageBeat Fokus adds your own questions and topic packs for AI adoption and transformation. Both plans are available for teams of five or more people; the price per team stays the same when more people join. Volume pricing applies to up to ten started teams. For eleven or more teams, or for personal support, we agree an individual quote.
Can I show it internally before surveying employees?
Yes. The public product demo uses fictional example data. You can use it to explain the process and reporting before collecting real responses. Internal approval and participant information must be addressed before use with employees.
What does the trial cost, and what happens afterwards?
Up to three teams in a company can each try EngageBeat free for 28 days on the first shared start date. The 28 days begin when the first survey opens. Setup and preparation are not included. The selected subscription then continues unless you cancel beforehand. A reminder follows seven and two days before charges begin. Unused trial places cannot be carried over to later start dates. Additional teams only start after an explicit paid booking.
Do I need a call before setting it up?
No, a call is optional. You can request your setup link directly. Clarify budget, data protection and internal approvals before the binding start.
